一位朋友問我看過「型男講座」這本書沒有，同時提到一篇有趣的介紹文章，要我過去看看。

唉，雖然我確實是1997和1998年的遠企台北十大型男之一（對，先前沒公開過，但為了這篇文章只好奮力一脫；獲選的就是右邊這張照片的系列。這是10年前的風格，所以請不要笑太大聲），但現在只是乾癟不良臭老頭一枚，看這種書大概沒什麼用，我目前比較需要的是「酷男五人組」。

其實，我大約一年前就站在書店把這本書翻得差不多了；沒買的原因主要是用處不大，其次是因為它的創意。說到創意，這本書的玩法很有創意、但也有點沒創意。怎麼說呢？

Fred Jame (that's me) is a Taiwan-based writer, translator and marketing/PR consultant specializing in linguistics, cultural context transformation, Internet and Web 2.0 development.

I have a MBA degree from Baruch College, City University of New York. After graduation, I worked as a marketing manager and product manager in IT business for years, and later became the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Director of Macworld magazine's Chinese Edition.

Following the glorious days at now-defunct Macworld Chinese, I started my own consulting firm and founded several Web sites. My clients include international companies such as Volvo Cars, Mazda, Audi, Land Rover, Jaguar, Apple Inc., Microsoft, Dell, ZyXEL, ViewSonic, Fuji Xerox and Ogilvy & Mather PR, among others.

Aside from work, I am an active blogger, social media user, columnist and translator. In real life, I am into scuba diving, motorcycling, flight simulation, weight training, classical music, sushi and fine cigars.

Oh yes, I also do cheese cakes, leather and wood works, gardening and painting.
